Grocery Budget App
Track your grocery budget before checkout
Shelf to Cart helps you scan shelf prices, add items to a running total, and optionally include a conservative tax estimate while you are still shopping.
A budget app for the middle of the shopping trip
Most budget tools show what happened after a purchase. Shelf to Cart is built for the moment when you are choosing items in the aisle. Scan a price tag, confirm the item, and keep your running total visible as the cart grows.
That makes it easier to decide whether to swap brands, adjust quantities, skip an item, or stay with the original plan before reaching the register.
How it helps shoppers stay on budget
Scan shelf prices
Use your phone camera to read grocery shelf tags instead of typing every item from scratch.
See a clear running total
Watch the cart total update as you scan, with an optional tax estimate you can switch on in settings.
Save shopping sessions
Review previous trips, store names, totals, items, and receipt-style summaries when you need them later.

Common questions
Can I use Shelf to Cart without scanning every item?
Yes. You can add items manually when a shelf tag is hard to scan or when you already know the price.
Does it replace my grocery store receipt?
No. Shelf to Cart is a planning and tracking tool. Your store receipt is still the final purchase record.
Can it help with tax estimates?
Optionally. Tax is off by default, so the running total shows the prices you scan. If you want tax included, you can turn on an optional estimate in settings.
